Which Pittsburgh-area towns have their own senior care page?
43 towns across the seven counties have enough licensed homes, nursing homes and agencies on the state and federal rosters to support a page of their own; homes in smaller towns appear on their county page and in the full directory.

How are town pages built?
Each town page is generated from the Pennsylvania DHS provider roster and the CMS Provider Data Catalog: every licensed home with its license number, beds, dementia unit and inspection dates, the town's nursing homes with their CMS ratings, and straight-line distances to neighboring towns.
Town names follow the mailing address on each record, so a home with a Pittsburgh mailing address may sit in a suburban township.
What a town page is and is not
| It is | It is not | |
|---|---|---|
| Facility list | every DHS-licensed home with that mailing town | a curated or paid list |
| Ratings | CMS ratings for nursing homes | ratings we made up |
| Prices | statewide CareScout medians | a local price survey |
